Letňany Community Garden and Farm
In Letňany we are testing the concept of community organic farming in larger urban fields. This is a continuation of our urban farm projects on Císařský ostrov and in Jinonice. Thanks to its excellent accessibility at the Letňany metro and its size of around 23 hectares, the farm gives a large number of Prague residents the opportunity to get involved in the production of their own food.
The basic principle of our farming is to strive for diversity, which we achieve by involving many different growers, raising livestock and building habitats for wildlife.
